Mechanism of Action

Vonoprazan fumarate is a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) that inhibits the gastric H+/K+ ATPase. By blocking this enzyme, it effectively suppresses gastric acid secretion, providing therapeutic effects in conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcers.

Indication

 Indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and for the healing of erosive esophagitis.
