About Dexketoprofen Trometamol
Mechanism of Action
Dexketoprofen trometamol is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, specifically COX-1 and COX-2. By blocking these enzymes, it reduces the production of prostaglandins, which are mediators of inflammation, pain, and fever, thereby providing analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Indication
Indicated for the short-term treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as postoperative pain, dental pain, and primary dysmenorrhea, as well as for the symptomatic treatment of acute exacerbations of chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
